Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Ensure installation standards and quality are met or surpassed
- Review and/or assign Project Supervisors to new projects from Account Managers
- Ensure labour hours are allotted and efficient to complete scope of work
- Ensure installation and quality standards are met or surpassed
- Scope of work clarity
- Assign Installation projects to Installation Supervisors / technicians, and/or Subcontractors based on experience and availability (work load) though the Installation Manager with the assistance of the Installation Coordinator
- Assist Installation Supervisors and/or subcontractors with developing an installation project plan and scheduling of equipment ordering and delivery to ensure projects completed to A.C. Technical Systems standards and within hours allotted
- Schedule internal start up meetings for all projects as required
- Notify Account Managers, engineering and finance of any and all changes notices, additions, alterations, on all projects with the assistance of the Installation Manager and Installation Coordinator
- Monitor Installation Supervisors daily project update reports and provide assistance when required
- Solicit project pricing from subcontractors and issue approved PO(s) when required
- Assist the Sales Department on large complex projects, or assign Installation Supervisor to assist
- Produce an installation report on a weekly basis in conjunction with the Installation Coordinator which reflects the status (Hours) on all projects and provide to Installation Manager
Requirements:
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
- Demonstrated verbal, written, reporting and presentation skills
- Proven understanding of project management concepts
- Must be a team player, a facilitator, with good interpersonal skills
- Tactical skills in organizing, prioritizing tasks, identifying milestones to reach a specific goal
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Project management education ( i.e. Certificate in Project Management, PMI designation)
- Must be able to meet or surpass security clearance (CPIC or government security clearances)
