Know Who's Coming and Going - And When
If you have a large number of people coming and
going to and from many exit and entrances, some
form of access control system should be used.
It's the best way to limit or allow access to
certain areas of your organization and to tell
who has been where and when.
With today's access control systems you can even
go beyond that. Integrate it with your alarm
system and add CCTV
to the picture and it's the closest thing to or
even better than having a live guard at each door
and gate.
Just imagine for example that a new employee
Jim, is issued an access card to a restricted
area such as a laboratory, and the laboratory
door is equipped with a card reader for entering
and a card reader for exiting. Whenever Jim enters
or exits the lab, the time, location and his profile
are recorded by the access control software to
a relational database. Now, let's say those same
card readers are integrated with a CCTV system.
Then there's a video recording associated with
each time Jim enters or exits. Furthermore, let's
integrate the alarm system along with the access
control and CCTV system. Then, if Jim's card is
reported lost or stolen, he will be issued a new
card and the next time his old card is used an
alarm will be set off and the CCTV system will
be automatically instructed to record the event.
The above example is a very common application.
AC Technical Systems can design and integrate
an access control system to accommodate an unlimited
number of entry and exit points for an unlimited
number of user profiles. Contact

access control system, adding a control access
system or integrating an access control system
with your other security devices.
